Today, I repeated a brew with the same settings that originally leaked in my Varia FLO dripper with original beans and water temperature (changed the grind size). I did not have any leaks. So with two brews with no leaks, I conclude that I did not have the two parts of the dripper completely locked together. I think that allowed coffee to slowly seep between the two parts. I am going to chalk this up to user error and move on.

My brew today with the Varia FLO dripper (Kalita 185 filter: Medium 1 screen: Rogue Wave Coffee Roasters (Edmonton, Alberta, Canada) - Panama Boquete) was not very flavorful, and feeling I have neglected my Timemore B75 for quite a while, I pulled it out for a second brew.

Second round: Timemore B75 with a Timemore filter and Rogue Wave Coffee Roasters (Edmonton, Alberta, Canada) - Panama Boquete beans using the Coffee Chronicler B75 recipe. This had a light body but a pretty good mouth feel. I would like a little more flavor and a thicker body, but this was a decent cup of coffee with mild flavor.
