Art of Shaving has discontinued the Lemon Cream. Does anyone know of another Lemon Cream which is good? Anyone tried the New York Shaving Company Lemon Cream?

Looks like a tie between Cade and MdC. I'm going to go with MdC since it's warmed up a bit since the snowfall, and it's a softer soap so I want to use it up sooner than a harder soap like Cade.

I'm also bringing out the #66 and (if I can get one out of the blister pack!) a NOS Bleue Extra blade.

Keep us posted, insomniac! You're paddling up a long, deep river, and from time to time I, for one (though I expect I'm not alone), would like to read your dispatches from the interior, telling us what you discover along the way, what monsters you encounter, and if you ever get homesick for the easy comfort of a wide rotation.

Usually my journeys aren't terribly interesting. MdC is pretty easy to dial in. Probably a decent chance that fall will come and I'll still be lathering away - anyone know how long a jar lasts?

What do people like for aftershaves that go with this? I've always used Pre de Provence balm - not the same scent but the same vibe.

I'm already seeing a bit of glass at the bottom - but I still have a long way to go. MdC jars are huge.

Are you saying that you started using MdC at the beginning of March 2019 and you are already down to the bottom of the jar?
That must mean you shave your head and face. Smile

It wasn't a new jar. I had already used it, but wasn't really keeping track. Could have been a few months at most over the years I've had the jar.
