For those that are in the know and those that aren't, Shannon's is superb....

I’m going to have to try her “Barbershop” Soap/Splash. I’ve heard of Shannon’s for a long time, but have never given it a shot. Those lather shots though, looks like one worth giving a chance.

It’s a risk worth taking. The scent is very distinct, quite different from other Barbershop scents. It has a semi sweet with that basil and kind of balsamic twist to it that gives it nice depth. The sweet and balsamic vibe dance together very nicely. The lather is just fantastic. I have pretty good water here, not hard or soft and it helps in building a great lather from almost all of the soaps I use. I will say that Shannon’s takes a bit more water and patience to build it up. I load it up real good on my brush that’s fairly wet, not drenched and just add a couple of drops at a time until I get the lather I want and that you see in the photo shots above. It performs and the Copaiba Rose is just sublime. Not overly complex with a bunch of notes or essential oils. Just Rose, Jasmine, Sandalwood and Copaiba resin oils. It’s a perfect balance that is blended with simplicity and is a masterfully done scented soap.

Shannon’s soap is a regular in my shave den. Glad to see it is for you too! My favorite is the BPG.

I'm a vetiver junkie, so I ordered Haymarket Vetiver. I used it this evening. Wonderful scent. The lather seemed a little thin, perhaps. I added too much water too soon. Will try again tomorrow evening.

This soap deserves way more attention than it gets. One of my favorites.

Another happy Shannon’s user, and this based on just the two samples that I have, Bay Patchouli Grapefruit and Haymarket Vetiver. Both are great scents, and this standard soap base offers excellent performance.

I follow Shannon’s Soaps on Facebook. They have just completed a move and may be catching up with orders. I also saw her mention that even though there is some scarcity when it comes to aftershaves on their website, they may still have stock, or she can replenish stock quickly. So if there’s an aftershave anyone would be interested in, just contact them through the website.

The Shannon's Barbershop delivered as expected on all fronts. Provided excellent protection and glide for the Gamechanger on its first run with the .84-P base plate. Post shave was just absolutely superb..... The scent is unique, alluring and addictive. Top notch, hands down.
