Oh my!  When I think of all the Margarita glasses that could be prepped with 10 tons of salt!   Cry  Folks might be snowed in, and their mailboxes might be avalanched, but at least they'd be happy.

While I am most certainly not a member of any royal family. That doesn’t mean that I can’t have a Royal shave. Smooth shaven and smelling good. Ready for the weekend.  How you all had a good day. Fluffy

Well gentlemen, it appears the universe has decided to balance the equation out. The last whimsical frozen precipitation event. Shall be followed by two separate accumulations of snow. Here in the "Mid Atlantic" area, as of now the forecast is for 6-14 inches with a possibility of 1/4" of ice in there too.
For me the battle will commence at 0600 Sunday morning. And shall not end until many gallons of diesel and tons of salt are consumed. And the storm has been vanquished.
I will most likely be away from my homestead until Wednesday evening. The back of my pickup will be used for my mobile storm rest center. It is equipped with a mattress, sleeping bag and a small but effective ceramic space heater.
I will be posting up anything noteworthy here. And possibly filming some of the festivities with my body cam. Depending on the quality of that footage I may post that up later. For those of you that may be curious what all the fuss is about.
We have quite a few new people that while they have been working with me for 2+ years at Highways. Have yet to have to plow more than a couple inches of snow. Or work more than 2 days in a row. Suffice to say. Time will tell if they come out the other side of the storm with their sanity and pride intact.  For those who lack the proper mindset. This type of event can be a gut check. Stay tuned for all the news from District Route #34. Your intrepid snow removal expert and the star of the show. "Daddy's Girl" truck #0090
