My goodness Dave. I'm convinced sometimes God assembles women a certain way. Just to mess with guys. When that young rascal asked me, "do you need help getting this out your vehicle?" I thought "sure, you'll fit in the trunk just fine". Then I remembered the wife's Hyundai has one of those emergency trunk release handles you can use to get out.
Gotta remove that thing. Wouldn't want one of my girlfriends getting hurt jumping out at high speed.
But alas I told her "no thanks I just paid with my credit card instead of cash. They can track me too easy".
First spin on the small pan this morning. Made some home fries and scrambled eggs. I'll give this first outing a C+. Had some sticking issues with the home fries. With the eggs I paid more attention to getting the pan temp right. 98% of the eggs didn't stick. There is a narrow range of temp that cooks well without letting the food stick. Once I get that dialed in on my stove. It'll be fine. Just like with our hobby here. Good gear, technique and experience yields superior results.
These stainless pans are like using straights. More attention is required. But very satisfying when you get things right. Of course you can get them with non-stick coating. That would be like a super mild DE. Quick easy mindless shaves. But where's the fun in that?
