Tonight’s shave. Features the original Chinese 66 razor. The Double Arrow. CBL’s Java infused soap provides the slickness for said razor to do its work. Applied by the Razorock 400 synthetic.
Capped off with the timeless Old Spice.

Thanks guys. It is a purrrty thang. Back when I started getting into straights. The Double Ducks were all the rage. And commanded very high prices. I looked on from afar. Not convinced that they were that much different than other Solingen razors. Are they good razors. Heck yea. But there are many of others that are every bit as nice. Prices over time came back to reality. And I got this one for a fair price. Another example of patience being rewarded.

Sorry Dave. I was busy watching my Ravens come up short in Buffalo.
I did shave, promise. Used some of my fancy stuff last night. Starting with SV Opuntia soap. Top notch for me in the scent and performance departments. Applied by my SV Badger brush. The Leader razor got the call. As I am going with a Solingen blade theme. This razor "sings" during every phase of my routine. Stropping, shaving and even when I wipe the soap off on my sponge. The extra thin grind and temper make for a sharp tuning fork. A few of my others are similar. Solingen's and Filiarmonica's.
Glad the sample got to you. Not happy about the reported condition. Guess your soap is "quadruple milled".
I'll try to post up daily in the future. Wouldn't want my fans disappointed or worried about me looking like a hippy.
