They have a subscription service and recently maneuvered to become the only authorized retailers of the Feather FHS-10 blade in the US and Canada I believe.
Holy Moses, $399 for a stainless steel razor? You gotta be kidding me. That price would make sense if it was made out of sterling silver, had an ivory handle, or was sold by Hermes, but it's not. Ebay, thou hath been outdone. Why would anyone who can afford that kind of outlay be worried about the price of blades? Now the monopoly nonsense, yeah, I can see why people would be concerned about restraints on free trade. Some aspects of the traditional wetshaving world are getting ridiculous, IMHO.
