The big deal is Jame's incredible skill as machinist and an eye for aesthetic beauty and stunning final finish. You add limited production and people want that intangible factor of prestige via rarity. A lot of posts have actually expressed disappointment some configurations don't shave like Prince Valiant's Singing Sword in vibrant Sunday comic colors and express a sour grapes reverse snobbery in NOT buying into the high end field. There is a place for these products, just not on every bathroom counter like a new Maserati in the driveway. I don't keep up with the Jones's - I drag them down to my own level, and if Wolfman level products come my way by good fortune they are welcome.

Ah, ok that makes sense. It is like the sneakerhead drama over the latest Air Jordans releases. I agree that the Wolfman razors are beautifully made, though. Obviously a talented machinist.
