I just wanted to take a minute to point out a couple of cases of excellent customer service.  I really enjoy supporting small businesses and, therefore, artisan soap makers.  I feel alot of them are providing the market with excellent products.  It is refreshing as well when you have a question or concern you are able to communicate directly with the business owners/operators.  The two companies that I recently have been in contact with are Caties Bubbles and Sterling Soaps.  The gentlemen I spoke with at each respective company were very prompt with their reply and extremely helpful.  In the case of Caties Bubbles, Chris went above and beyond for me standing behind his excellent product.  I just wanted to highlight these two companies and the excellent job they are doing in providing us with quality products and customer service.  I am sure there are other small businesses that are doing the same, but these are the only two I can attest to at the moment.  Keep doing what your doing guys.  We really appreciate it.  CatiesBubbles

I agree about Catie's. Also Bullgoose, Maggard's, West Coast Shaving, Phil's Razors have all been excellent on the customer service front, and of course Irena at Ginger's Garden gets a gold star *

I will take this opportunity to give my highest praise to possibly the best artisan & vendor in wet shaving ..... Irena at Ginger's Garden! Her soaps & aftershaves are among the best you can buy......world class-
I have requested of her to match aftershave scents on several occasions ...... and she has done remarkably well at doing this. Thank you!
Her cheerful demeanor & customer service is second to no one - Ginger's Garden is on the west coast and I reside on the east .....I have routinely had packages arrive two or at the most three days after ordering! If you haven't tried her soaps & scents, I urge you to order from this under-advertised artisan!

This is nice to hear. People will go out of their way to yell from the tallest mountain top to all that will listen when they get bad service but those who go above and beyond the benchmark for service often get ignored. Thanks for sharing

In addition to the excellent vendors already mentioned, you can't go wrong with reef point soaps or Soap commander.  The X factor in all this is Maggards.

In addition to the excellent, excellent, ( did I mention excellent?) service, they also carry reef, soap commander and just about everyone's else's soap, so you don't need to go directly to the vendors.  Furthermore, with their free shipping program, they make it too easy to order in smaller numbers.  For this I love them and I hate them.  I absolutely love going to the mail box and getting my soaps, and absolutely hate getting my credit card bill, often arriving at the same time as the soap.....

For the record, I will be the best shaved, best smelling homeless fellow this side of Sault Ste. Marie...

For me, the best are: Catie's Bubbles, P.A.A., Maggard Razors, Razor Emporium, Barrister & Mann. I do like dealing with West Coast and Italian Barber but unless you choose expedited shipping, it takes too long to receive your product.

I received my first package from soap commander today. This was my first dealings with them, and I must say they truly appreciate the customer. I only ordered a few samples not a huge monetary order, yet they still have me a free balm sample and a hand written card! Soap commander is a class act and I will be purchasing more products from them.

I have only had great service with all the vendors I've ordered from. Soap Commander and Maggard Razors really stand out which is hard to do when every place is fantastic.

Stirling Soap, stands out for excellent service, you can add to that list Maggards, Chiseled Face, Dr. Jons.

I've had great experiences with Maggard's, Try-A-Blade, and polsilver-blades.com. It's only brick-and-mortar but every time I pop into Pickwick Pharmacy in Philadelphia has very very friendly and helpful people.
