I'm afraid I couldn't find the pictures of the brush when I received it originally it was pretty beat up. I ripped out the old knot. Technically it was mostly falling out. and put in a magarrds Silvertip 22mm. I like it. Works pretty well.
There is a penny and a dime inside to lift it up a bit and some epoxy (gflex). It is an Eveready 3041

thanks. under $30 the knot was on sale at xmas time.
whatever the black adhesive the factory used was a bear to dig out and I did leave some in. Had I thought a little more about the asthetics, i would have taken more time and dig it all out so the penny and dime were more obviously visible.
come to think of it i did polish the bottom a little and scrape out the stamping and fill it in w/ Behrs house paint...

Dig that brush! I like to paint he socket black when refinishing clear handles as it hides the plug and looks like it did when new. Great job my friend.

I have put new knots in a couple of the clear brush handles. After removing all of the old knot I used cheap black nail polish for the inside of the hole and it worked out perfectly. I let the nail polish dry thoroughly before gluing the new knots in with Epoxy. I figured the black nail polish would stick to the inside of the hole well and it seems that it did. Makes the handles look like they did when new.
