The soap is as light in color as can be.
I agree, it's no different from other ones. The vanilla is the one that's brown.

Nonstaining; scooped and lathered today. Very subtle scent

Dan Tonka Bean is a light scent especially if it’s real and not a synthetic variation.

UPDATE:

So here’s a photo of the new Face & Body  Roll -Up Shave Sticks.  As you can see I have my labels for the Unscented, Succes and Fresco but we ran out of time before the move to complete them all. Another week or so and they will all be completed.

Still a good selection of Aromas.

For those wondering about the base. This is a new non tallow base shave soap formula that suits the Roll - Up Sticks well. I’ve been shaving with a couple of them and to me it’s a step up from the bar soap formula with really good slickness and it provides a nice dense lather.  Easy to use and especially if your doing any amount of shower shaving which I’ve been doing a lot of as I’ve been so busy with my move that I haven’t had much time for a many nice slow relaxing shaves. I’ve sent a couple of these out to some female shavers that tested the body shaving bars before and they like these better as their main thing was they are much neater than the bars are. These will be good for travel also.

A couple of the scents are more targeted to  women like the Sweet Lavender which is my take on the vintage Yardley Lavender, the Sakura which is my take on Tom Fords Lost Cherry only layered over Tonka Bean, which is an Aroma blend I created for my Sons fiancé who wears TF Lost Cherry and I made her a authentic Tonka Bean EDP to use as a base to layer her Lost Cherry over which she loves. In the Sakura the Tonka Bean is already in the Shave soap so it adds not only its vanilla and nutty Carmel but it’s the Cherry note that comes from authentic Tonka Bean. There’s also the Peche De Vigne which btw I added a higher percentage of Peach to. Now with that said I can tell you that 80% of that scent is men buying it and the Sweet Lavender has been similar so I don’t know about the Sakura but both myself and my assistant like it a lot so I’d say in reality they are unisex scents just like all the others with maybe the exception of the Succes which is more of a masculine scent but one that most women really like on their men.

I’ll be adding more scents as time goes by. I’m thinking we need some darker more masculine cool weather type scents. The Shave Sticks are also a way for people to try different scents at a lower price point than my Jared shave soaps. Also someone asked if these can be used as a Pre Shave and I honestly don’t see why not. I just won’t use to much as this formula lathers up really easy.

For what it’s worth because it’s been so darn hot out lately I’ve been somewhat obsessed with the Peppermint. Using everything Peppermint cools me down. Just curious am I alone on this?

They are a full 3 oz if anyone is wondering.

Great shaves all.

Oh I forgot to mention in my last post that these are not the same Roll - UP jars that I use for the First Lather. Those are smaller, Shinny and made from a different plastic. These have a nice matte finish so no slipping and like I said hold 3 full oz of Shave Soap.

They look great Frank Dragonsbeard, and IMO you've explained the format and its advantages very well.  I could see myself being interested in some more masculine and some unisex titles, but the unisex titles also have gifting potential.  So is it correct that the shelf life on these is on the order of most soaps, and they can therefore be bought ahead for the holidays?

Absolutely can be bought ahead of time. I also add a natural preservative to all my soaps for extra protection.

Yes I’ll be adding more Aroma blends as the months roll on ( no pun intended ) lol

Hello Ramsay
Like all my Shave Soaps the prices may vary from one to another depending on the Aroma Blend but the ones I posted photos of all fall in at $19.75 with the exception of the Unscented which is $18.50 . Again this is for 3 oz.
