A vintage Rooney butterscotch brush, in pure badger, with a handle shape that I have not seen before. Perhaps of interest to those of you who collect older butterscotch brushes.

Wilkinson 'New' Stainless, which are purported to be exactly the same as the Light Brigades. I haven't used any of these, so I am not sure. But if so, this is a great deal.

For someone who really wants some Wilkinson Light Brigades... But don't get too excited about the "X60" in the title. The auction is NOT for a lot of 60 of them; it's just an "internal stock number."

[Image: haiZx4Q.jpg]For anyone who wants to try the suspected UK equivalent of the Wilkinson Light Brigade, jump on these.

The Wilkinson “NEW” blades were produced in 1969/1970, and sold in the UK.  Circa the same time that the Light Brigades were sold in the US market.  Here is their advertisement way back in the day!

Gents,

I tried a NEW blade referenced above, and the initial shave was every bit as good as the fabled Wilkinson Light Brigade’s initial shave!

I will now use it every other day until the blade has been killed to see how it evolves.

Just an FYI, this is the Aluminum version and says "new?" with a question mark. It's in AMAZING shape but had some use I think. JMO  Happy2

Nor was I until I was hunting mine. Meant nothing negative about your post. It's a beautiful specimen. Just want anyone looking as I was to be aware of the 2 metals. Best to you Dan  Happy2
