A lot of crap went on in that thread. ALOT of crap. By everyone. Some of it was actually based on logic. But the irony is, non of it was actually allowed by the simple forum rule I was told by a mod here.

"don't bash people or other forums. Say all the bad stuff about products that you want"

But in that fun thread, moderators were leading and encouraging users to violate that simple concept. And the only thing that happened was that the person who posted that photo was banned. But nothing else happened to anyone who posted their derogatory commentary in that post.

I wont name or call anyone out from that thread, that would be violating the rules here. But it illustrates the main issue with Shaving Forums, and all forums in general. If you agree with what the power base says, youll be fine. Disagree or not suck up to the power base, youll be held in ridicule and mocked and get tossed out after the fun of being allowed to mock someone openly.

Things like that, on a forum that was supposedly created by people who got kicked off of other forums through moderator/website owner abuse really helps to illustrate the problem everywhere.

Quite a few posts in thread read as people spitting on a person, simply because they didn't do things like post a shave review of a gifted razor, when it was never required as part of the gift. It is quite simply very close to the ethics discussion people had when they sold expensive items on forum BST sections for a lower price to a forum member, who then put it on ebay and sold it for 2-3 times as much.

Seller beware, buyer beware.

Heres just for information. The person who created that thread, was on all the forums. With a different name. I talked to that person, at the time I had a few razors I didn't like having around so I offered him 1. he declined, I asked he pay for shipping by telling the forum his philosophy on shaving. Or having a cute girl pose with it for me.

What little I ever learned was that he was a foreigner attending college somewhere around Austin Texas. He was from either Bangladesh, or nicarauga. I couldn't really figure each one out as he mentioned women from both countries and restaruants from each country made him feel at home.

Even though he went through forums begging free shaving gear, he was not any worse then some of the biggest names on shave forums.

How? He begged for free gear, the big names on here beg for attention and hero worship by buying 300$ razors.

Thanks. We don't need an inflammatory thread to point out another one.
