Should have not blown through this, because the Excelsior base Bay Rum, which I just received is a HUGE scent disappointment. According to Will, the pimenta racemosa he is now getting is "rough". That was his term. My term is "awful". 

Another discontinued scent that I love gives up the ghost.

I like this A&E so much but somebody in my den used it all,oh me.

Hmmmm.... I wonder when that batch of pimenta racemosa started to be incorporated.
My Excelsior based Bay Rum is not harsh at all. In fact it's the most tolerable bay rum I've tried. Smooth and lovely.

My Excelsior based Bay Rum is not harsh at all. In fact it's the most tolerable bay rum I've tried.  Smooth and lovely.

Mine was (traded it) not "harsh" at all. It simply no longer had that distinctive, Bay Rum scent. Luckily I found someone who had an unused puck and AS from the earliest batch of B&M Bay Rum.

Somehow “they” know when a person really likes a particular product and they discontinue it just to mess with you. Also reinforces the power structure. So if you really like something, keep it to yourself otherwise you’re just asking for trouble.
