I will leave it as is; knowing only the allmighty is imperfect and many cultures deliberately include flaws in art out of respect for her.

A lot of people dump on the millenials. This thread is a dump, IMO, on millennials. After all, its the 20 somethings that embrace the 3 day beard look. Its all through pop culture.

grim, there is a rich world out there of past, present, and future and I enjoy (and sometimes despair) of it all.  I am so happy that I try to open my mind, heart, and life to it all, even if I am not always successful.  How much I would lose if I thought like you and those who think as you do.  We shall definitely have to agree to disagree.

My Oxford dictionary is a source of phrontisterion study . I never depart without learning at least one new word. Who checks spellcheck? Are they the same folks who sell online navigation systems people religiously follow as they drive off ocean piers? I never dumped on a 'millenial' whatever one is. If one makes references to bathtub Packards, Elmer Gantry, and uses words like "phrontisterion" (which I freely admit I had to go look up), I'll suggest that 99% of the populace couldn't pick out a Packard in a lot of packards nor have a clue who Burt Lancaster was nor care (I do but I'm old), so  you've lost your audience before you start.

Since the OP seems to be a plea to find out what irritates people, here's a simple thought. Try to use words that the reader doesn't have to look up nor references to a past long forgotten by even those old enough to have been alive when the cars and movies were around.  With respect, maybe rewatch, S1, E5 of the Twilight Zone from 1959, Walking Distance. This scene when Gig Young wanted to live in the past ... His dad talking to his adult son ...

Kav, I'd argue we are actually trending toward a society more like the one portrayed in Brave New World.

No one is going to commit a thought crime because we all have ADD from toggling back and forth from Facebook to Instagram to Twitter to Snapchat and so on...

Like Sourav, I'm 29 years old, and I work in tech. I'm well adapted to this age, but I appreciate learning things from history, particularly skills like traditional wet shaving.

However, I admit that I waste a massive amount of time through distraction from my phone or the internet. It's kind of sad really because it impacts your ability to appreciate things and engage with the world.
