I agree. Classic and classy... Also, a great performing brush. You really can't go wrong with Semogue.

I noticed after posting these pictures that the sticker is different on the two brushes. I hope that doesn’t mean the knots are different.

I noticed after posting these pictures that the sticker is different in the two brushes. I hope that doesn’t mean the knots are different.
I did a bit of sleuthing for ya... I am 95% sure it's just a change in the sticker. From what I've read, Semogue did a overhaul a year or two ago and switch from Excelsior to Hereditas. Both are just company 'motos', and not meant to describe it differentiate the brushes. I think you merely have a newer brush to go with your original.
