Big things in small packages, eh? That just makes the Turn N Shave even more of a disappointment... 26mm and it fails to hold enough for 2 passes? Lol.

Like Bryan said, that is so darn cute! It's in such good condition, too. Awesome piece of history Dave.

Here’s my 26mm boar brush of the day.

This handle had been sitting in my Etsy Shop for a long time. I like the neon on white color schemes, but no one else appears to!

Yesterday, I pulled it. Cut the base down a bit, gave it a satin finish and threw a coin in.

Tonight I went with the Omega 28mm handle. Unfortunately, I had been busy all day (and night) at my daughter's Nutcracker performance. So I got.home late and had a bit of a rushed shave. Soaking time was ~3min. Because of this, the brush was stiff and springy... Even by Omega standards. Still, I rolled with the punches. I did more painting than splaying, but I got 3 beautiful lathers with plenty left over.

In the future, I definitely need to give this brush more soak time to loosen up. Nonetheless, it worked well in a tough situation.

Good work, Paul. Have you ever used an Omega S synthetic? Springy and capable of flinging lather at the other sink, where the missus is prepping and not as amused as I!

Lol, yes. Once upon a time I had one. That brush should have been called the Omega C(atapult) or Omega T(rebuchet).

Ha! Exactly! It was my first synthetic knot, and it was ghastly. It was on of my first Black Friday purchases. I believe it was PIF'd shortly thereafter.

Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 1131

This soap scent and Aftershave were made for each other. It's what I used together when Pete Patriot graciously shared a healthy sample of the soap with me and I'm delighted to have a tub of it now to enjoy whenever I want a luxurious shave. It's the M base but has firmed up nicely as it has cured. The Boti Boar knot on 1st use had some funk that I know will subside and just a few hairs lost. It held enough lather for a 3 pass mug shave and a 1 pass back of the neck shave. Not bad for a 20 mm boar on 1st use. I'm refreshed and ready for the day.......................after some coffee and a pumpkin chocolate chip muffin that is. Have a stupid fun day folks !!
