Thanks Paul and Dude, why aren't you sleeping either?  Cool

3:30 AM seemed like a good time to go out to the shop and work on stuff.

At 3:30AM ET, my bladder told me to get up or else. Then one of the cats decided that would be a good time to eat, and the other decided he like lying on my legs. Oh, and my wife said as long as you're awake, take something to stop snoring!  Undecided

What a story! Those sorts of issues, the ones that seem out of control than have a simple explanation AFTER loads of time or money spent, those make you wish for a reset button! I have been in your place, but I was the culprit, and I have been in your wife's place, causing undue work and stress quite by accident.

Hope all goes well today with the visit. These can be tough times, so you and yours are in my thoughts and prayers!

Sorry about the truck Dave.  Mama said there'd be days like this, but they're never fun.  Good luck placing mom-in-law, and FWIW ditto Paul on the shirt.

Thank you Mike and all the others that have posted well wishes. The Nursing Home looked nice and would be a good fit but we got a call from the hospital as we were heading to drive home from the Nursing Home and they said she was evaluated by Hospice and they are transferring her to Hospice at the hospital. They only do short term hospice so she may be at rest soon as she has been going downhill fast these last 3 weeks. If she has a rebound, Hospice will place her at that time in a Nursing Home. Thanks again everyone !

I just got a chance to watch your video and read your last post. Sorry to hear about your MIL. That was a bummer about your truck too.

Yes, as Tim said, sorry to hear that. May God give you the strength you'll need these coming weeks.

Good morning Dave. I watched your video yesterday, man what crappy luck. Nothing else to do but roll with it. I hope you get the truck back soon and can catch up on work. I know it drives me crazy when I end up behind, with a long list of things to do.

I'm very sorry to hear about the mother-in-law. Sounds like a very tough situation. I hope and pray she rebounds and perhaps the family gets a few more good years? Maybe that's wishing for the moon, but you got to Hope for the best even when you plan for the worst. Nonetheless, my prayers are with you and the family.

Time to go to work and prepare for the inevitable hump day camel posting. Come on Eric don't disappoint us. Lol.

Ps: I will echo the others in saying that shirt was awesome. The tucking of the collar... Genius!

Yesterday and today's shaves.

So with everything else going on I still had to get that tree down that is going into my dad's septic line and was bordered by electric and cable lines on two sides. At 83 he borrowed a Kubota and had dug up and replaced what lines he needed but Mom was still worried about that tree. On my way back from work and Knoxville yesterday I swung by and took quite a few limbs off with a handsaw so that it was all ready to come back today to work on it with the equipment.
