I agree that the Excalibur has poor fit. It does make it difficult toget put together howeverin havingnow tried the Vector, I can say that any head that small is hard for me to assemble due to dexterity issues. The Vector's machining is in another league and fits together tightly. I agree that if someone has the means the Vector is the superior product.

I'm glad to hear that you are enjoying the Katana. It's a very efficient razor and the geometry and angle are good. I think this one is worth the money.

Razor: Gem Bullet Tip/Guiding Eye
Blade: Gem SS
Brush: Graydog Cocobolo/Synbad
Soap: Agua de Colonia Concentrada Barberia Shaving Cream
AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
AS 2: Ethos Fresh Lime
Fragrance:
Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 1258

So this cream was another gift from Rob ExtraProtein and he said how amazing it was if i'm not mistaken. I used it once and wasn't overly impressed with it when I bowl lathered it and wanted to try it again face lathering. Th scent is very faint/light to me and the lather is okay but nothing wow to me. I do appreciate the generous gift but will probably move this along as I seem to be missing something. It could be me and my lathering technique but I am what I am as Popeye always said........I think it was him. The guiding eye Gem gives an amazingly smooth shave. Have a great day everyone !

A truck story to either make you laugh or cry. As a former boss used to say, "no good deed goes unpunished."

At 3:30AM ET, my bladder told me to get up or else. Then one of the cats decided that would be a good time to eat, and the other decided he like lying on my legs. Oh, and my wife said as long as you're awake, take something to stop snoring!  Undecided
