You've got to tell me more about your experience with Blackland's Ti Vector. I've been eyeballing it for months. Thing is, I'm getting tired of heavy stainless razors. And aluminum razors are often too light and sort of sticky. But that polished Ti Vector looks heavenly, and at 44 g, it may just hit the sweet spot.

My ideal razor would be as heavy as a 1950s Gillette Tech (around 60 g with the blade in), but would have the fit and finish of a modern, well-crafted razor.

So, MaineYooper, do you think the Ti Vector is too light? And do you like the blade feel? And is there room at the trough?

Nice clear explanation of what a lather catcher is all about.  And a beautiful razor to boot!
