Working this week or did the boss give you some time off?  Tongue
He was pushing me earlier this month so that we can glide thru the rest of the year with ease. 2 longer days this week and next will kill the month. Thanks Chris  Happy2

Razor: Gibbs #15
Blade: Wizamet (?)
Brush: Rubberset 400/Cashmere Synthetic
Soap: Ethos Mèlange d'agrumes
AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
AS 2: Ethos Mèlange d'agrumes
Fragrance: Calvin Klein One

I finally got the little blade aligner things in from the 3D printer and they make it so easy now to nip the end off a modern blade so it will fit and yet still have it dead pan aligned. The original Gibbs blades had a notch to do that for you which means posts in the way requiring the snipping the ends of the modern blades to fit. Pic to show the aligners which were a simple but genius fix for the issue. Set on 5 and got a glassy smooth shave today. That's all I have for the shave................now where's my coffee and muffin..........Oh yeah, Have a great day everyone !!!

When I took the razor apart to install the aligners last night, it was tight and hard to unscrew at first. Noticed a tad of rust/corrosion on the threads which may have been what caused it to be for sale. I'll clean it up and add some lubricant to help it in the future as well as clean between shaves. That won't be a chore now with the new aligners.

That is a genius solution. Love that kind of stuff. That Gibbs is purrty. Glad your boss isn't being too much of a "Richard" this week.  Cool

Thanks Ken and I hope you have a great day! Running some errands now to get the spare hundred pound propane tank filled for the fireplace and the spare 20 pounder for the grill filled up.

Great shave and setup Dave! That Gibbs is a looker and the interchangeable heads on that brush is awesome!

Thanks Tim, I felt like I needed to get rid of some brushes having this one but I decided technically It's just 1 brush. HEY, That's my story and I'm sticking with it Big Grin
