Razor: Yates 921-Hybrid
Blade: Gillette Spoiler (1)
Brush: Teton Zen Series "Bob Ross"
Soap: Dragonsbeard V2 Sample
AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
AS 2: Dragonsbeard Skin Food Splash
Fragrance: Prada Luna Rossa Black

Rinse lather and repeat. Back with the Dragons beard sample that I have pressed into a bowl that I loaded from and proceeded to face lather. Got a superb lather and while I wasn't sure if I liked this synthetic knot, it is feeling better and I may just leave it in this handle which I love the story behind and the fact that I go to watch it being turned. Opted for the other Yates setup with the V1 cap, Hybrid plate and their Brass Stubby handle loaded with a Gillette Spoiler blade. Nice shave, feeling good and smelling better. Have a glorious day DFS !!!

Fantastic looking shave. It is truly amazing what one can do with a “decent” soap.

Razor: King C. Gillette
Blade: Gillette Spoiler (2)
Brush: Dragonsbeard
Soap: Dragonsbeard V2 Sample
AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
AS 2: Dragonsbeard Skin Food Splash
Fragrance: Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb

Decided to go to the drawers of razors and pick one that has sat for awile among the many that sit. I don't see myself as a collector and don't need @50 SE and DE razors laying around. Hence the need to downsize Fluffy Ken. The King C. Gillette is a nice razor with some heft. If I remember correctly it's a stainless steel handle and zamak head but I could be wrong. I like the feel and look for a modern Gillette which no doubt copied one of the standard modern heads. The shave is mild and efficient enough but hard to get a great bbs. The sweet spot is narrow but you can tell where it is. Another amazing shave with Dragonsbeard soap and splash with 1 more shave in the sample. The brush is now where I want it to be with the Whipped Dog Silvertip. It is definitely NOT a high density knot but more than adequate and looks great in the handle in my opinion. VERY happy with it and the stand now. Decided to mix it up and switch to Spicebomb for a fragrance today. Have a stellar day DFS !!!
