Full Mirror Polish is close to the level of Wolfman. Its on another level compared to other manufacturers/artisans.
I would rank regarding polishing from various companies:
1. Mirror Wolfman
2. Haircut & Shaving Mirror (H&S)
3. Basic polish Wolfman

Speaking from experience, currently have H&S p076, previously owned H&S n075.

Can you elaborate on the exact differences between full and light polish? I can see a couple things in photos on the website but there is no description in the listing.

Not confident this applies to copper versions but in the other versions it equivalent to the difference between a Kia and Ferrari.

Nobody in the industry meets H&S high polish standards and he does it on metals others won't bother with period.

My perspective is the light polish a good option for those unwilling or unable to afford the extra money for the high polish version.  That is fair enough as it a highly personal decision regarding assigning value to a product or service upgrade.

However, for those willing to spend the extra money, the extra labour that goes into the high polish is not even remotely covered by the incremental price: it is an incredible value. Compare the incremental upcharge of the only other artisan in the business of similar renown to Aji; it reveals just what a bargain Aji is offering for the bespoke high polish upgrade.

Thanks Dan but I am looking for specific details on the H&S machine finish/light polish.

Are only certain surfaces polished on the head and handle? For the surfaces that are polished, is the level of finish different? I can make some guesses from the pics on the H&S website but they don't show a lot of detail and there is no description.

Didn't want to bother aji as I'm not looking to make an immediate purchase. Hopefully a member here has the details.

Per Aji explicitly:
The machine finish/light polish results in a surface with the tooling marks visible.

With The machined-finish/ Light Polish razor, it only takes one day to finish one razor.

It takes all day to sand down and remove all the tooling marks and all day to polish up the razor, so total of two days to finish one razor to high polish standard.

I don't know why they just don't figure out a time/media formula for a tumbler and be done with it. Probably they would be able to fulfill their orders then in a week and then..........the thrill would be gone.

Secretary Ramsey put his foot into it yesterday . . . in the course of his remarks he said that California “needs water and better society.”  “So does h-ll,” yelled someone in the crowd.

I am working on writing a detailed review of my thoughts on the razor and soaps. I will have them posted soon. Sorry for the delay.
Thank you DanLaw for coordinating this passaround.
