Do you have a jar/tin of Cold River Soap Works Bergamot & Bay, Classic Fougere or Puro Fresco that just isn't getting the love it deserves? Do you want it to go to a good home? PM me!

As I’m writing this, Cold River Soap Works still has one brand-new jar of Puro Fresco left, for $14 shipped:

Such a great scent!

FYI - shipping used to be included in the price. Now, after lowering the price of soap, shipping for one jar of soap is $3.99.

Thanks for the replies. I wouldn't mind buying new, but I just don't need that much soap. Used is much better for me. I did put Classic Fougere and Puro Fresco in my cart to check the shipping: $7.55 shipping.

Thanks for the information on shipping, Bert369 and ketchuegrast. I had missed that. With the current prices, I should have known that free shipping would be too good of a deal to be true.

Good luck with finding the soaps! CRSW has some of the classiest scents in the business. (And Oliva – R.I.P. – is one of my favorite soap bases…)

Free shipping would have been excellent! Alas, it was not to be. That's ok, based on a PM I received it looks like I will obtain Bergamot & Bay. That's good news. I never tried the Olive base. I understand it had olive oil in it, which is usually the death knell for a shaving soap. That does not seem to be the case for Oliva.

I’m glad if you found one!

After hearing all the negative things said about olive oil in a shaving soap, my expectations for Oliva weren’t high when I first tried it. However, it was love at first shave. I sometimes wonder if it was the lack of tallow or the inclusion of olive oil that caused some people to avoid it. I’m sure some of them would have changed their minds, had they given it a shot…

Sorry if I derailed your thread! Blush

It's good you got to try the Oliva base. I would have liked to do so, but it came and went in a time period where I wasn't buying any shave gear. Oh well. Naw, you haven't derailed anything!
