For sale is a 1930 Gillette New Deluxe Traveler set in gold.  Date code is 11562D.

The razor is in great shape and is a pleasure to use.  It has one small crack in the handle, but it does not affect performance.  It shaves great and looks great!  There is some lacquer loss (not gold plate loss; especially on one of the canisters), but the gold plate is still there.  You could strip the remaining lacquer and get an amazing shine on everything.  I left it lacquer in place to protect the razor head.  Please see the pictures.  A great set for being 87 years old!

Asking $70, plus $5 for shipping CONUS.  I paid $85 for this set.  As with the Silver set I have listed I will consider foreign buyers, but the buyers will pay actual shipping costs and assume any risks associated with their country's postal system.
