how is it price gouging when they're scarce? it's not as if someone could go on site X and just buy one right now... the price is what it is because of its scarcity and its popularity.

I think everyone has overpaid and/or paid a premium for something in life. shaving items shouldn't be some sacred cow.

Thanks for all the support from the free market thinkers, thanks to the always excellent DFS administration and thank goodness we still live in a country where people are free to express their views.

Here at DFS, you got a fair chance for sure. If this would have been other forums people would have made this a huge issue , based on your post count, guessing your intentions are and what not.

Good news! If you don't want to pay $850 for it, you don't have to!

There is a new eBay listing. $1050 for a new BBS-1 razor and stand (or best offer).

I mean, you can always ASK people to pay $850 for your razor. Nothing wrong with that. Even with how scarce they are, I respect the people who aren't in it to make cash. The day they wanna start making money on shave equipment is the day they'll open up a business doing so.

Either way, you have to know you're not gonna get much love on any of these sites reselling things like this. I picked up one for $400 last month, and another one sold for $600 today on FB BSTs.

What you SHOULD do, is put it on eBay, where this stuff is regularly condoned, or head on over to the $have gear raffle page. We just had one raffle off for $960 the other day. Filled in like 6 hours. That way you give a lot of people a chance to pick one up. PM me if you want to know more about that site or want an invite to it. Good group, where you want get lambasted for selling higher end rare items

Oh, you mean "for the most part", unless you skimmed over the 60/40 ratio of negative responses to this post lol

Its all good my dude! my point was to address the negativity surrounding the OP, and to share an avenue WITH the OP where there won't be any negativity. I don't even know who you are, but, we got this Big Grin

From an administration point of view, no issues.
