While my "home made" dish/laundry soap seems to work better than the detergent based Dawn, etc; the cost to make it is either the same or more than the retail price of a big ol' gallon of the synthetic stuff. So, it's not even worth it to make it myself.

In my practice I find that there is a connection with parabens and low back pain. Even small amounts.

I personally avoid perfume. I loved MWF, but was relieved when I was done with the bar because I couldn't stand the scent.  I need to be careful with the essential oils also. Most of the time I use unscented.
