Today Chatillon Lux has released Colonia Balsamica, only available through June 20 at ChatillonLux.com
Our seasonal scent for Spring 2016, Colonia Balsamica, was inspired by the Italian Colonia fragrances that are simultaneously sweet and masculine, but with herbal and grassy notes that are an homage to Saint Louis' Italian neighborhood, The Hill, which was the boyhood home to MLB Hall of Famers Yogi Berra and Joe Garagiola. The neighborhood is renowned for its close-knit community, beautifully manicured gardens and bocce ball courts, and traditional Lombard and Sicilian cuisine, including Rigazzi's, about which Yogi famously said, "Nobody goes there any more. It's too crowded."
The Colonia Balsamica Post-Shave Salve will be very lightly mentholated to be more refreshing on a warm spring morning. It is not cold, but just slightly cooling in order to add to your refreshment.
Notes include Lemon, Spanish moss, clary sage, lavender, jasmine, amber, vetiver, grapefruit, freshly cut grass, rosemary, basil, ginger, musk, petitgrain, and ylang ylang

hawns those are some pretty sweet looking products - nice labels too. I'm looking forward to getting some of that into my rotation
Marko
Thanks, Marko, I appreciate it! The new labels were my partner's baby (in fact, he does all the labels/logo design and printing), so I'll let him know. We wanted to make it a little more St. Louis-centric, so the aftershave label is a silhouette of the statue of St. Louis riding a horse that was commissioned for the World's Fair, while the post-shave toner is the St. Louis city flag rotated 90 degrees.
And soon, very soon, you'll be getting your bottle of it!

That's funny, when I use to freelance, I did a lot of work through Creative Circle a couple blocks over at Broadway and Pine. That's also my go-to baseball game stop (too busy at the the Busch station), and my go-to Cardinals parking is at 7th and Pine. I'd imagine we're strolling the same sidewalks.
The Fourth and Pine will be out officially on June 20, but it has been known to make their way into people's hands these days...

Great balance of citrus [lemon, yuzu, grapefruit] and bitter orange [neroli, bergamot, petitgrain]. Slight touch of lavender to round everything out.
Fantastic AS!

That's funny, because my Fourth and Pine train station is in Seattle!

Ha, that explains it. I was thinking that this guy must have 8th and Pine confused with 4th and Pine. If you can't tell, I'm pretty St.-Louis-centric in my thinking. Obviously.
