I knew there were some hardcore rose heads, but I had no idea there were so many!

Yup, roses - last week I shaved with Soap Commander Love (rose) and finished off with CL YRP - it was awesome I'm looking forward to the Rose Santal.

Hello all! My name is Shawn, and a while back I made a shea butter post shave salve for me and my friends, Jason and Liz. We ended up forming Chatillon Lux, a brand based on the history of our beloved South Saint Louis. Our goal is to make luxury, hand-crafted grooming provisions at a reasonable price and that anyone can enjoy. 

Currently we carry shea butter based post shave salves and pre shave butters. The salve has 30% shea butter, as well as witch hazel, avocado oil, coconut oil, lanolin, and more. You can read reviews of these products here.

Soon we will be releasing a nourishing, low-alcohol splash with chamomile, calendula, elderflower, aloe, glycerin, witch hazel, grapefruit seed extract and lanolin that comes in all of our scents. Additionally, the splash will also come in a tea tree oil version for added skin care. So far we've received a really positive response from all of our product testers on these and hope to have them out next week. 

Lastly, Liz, a former stylist, is working on a hair paste and multi-purpose moisturizer that will round out our grooming offerings.  

So we're pretty busy and pretty excited. I'd love to answer any and all questions, as well as shoot the breeze with you. I'm a huge fan of your products, as I know many on here are as well. If you ever come up with a pomade, I'm a sure buyer.

The soap arrived today and I had skipped morning shave so that I can use the soap in the evening.

Initial smell is pretty good when you open the box.

Once the brush is loaded and water is added the smell really blooms. Not really overpowering or too strong. A subtle smell which is very nice.

Performance wise this is a top soap. I have never used a L&L soap before and this has been awesome experience.

Only 1 regret - why do I become a good guy at such times and not buy more than 1. Just think that I hope other people can also enjoy but always when I get such a great limited edition soap I always regret not buying 2

I'm making nearly as many as I did the first time around, which took four hours to sell out. So I doubt it'll be instantaneous by any means.
