I am particular thankful as living in Sweden there is a problem with getting alcohol shipped. Your insights really helps in trying to decide where to go next. Now I have found 'Top of the chain' which luckily ships internationally even though it takes some time (boat) and I have started stocking up on the AS as well.

Top of the Chain has quickly become my go to vendor. Carmine carries an extensive inventory of artisan products and he is open to suggestions if there's something you're looking for that he doesn't carry. I get the overseas shipping, I'm in Canada and I ordered some product from the UK recently. It took 7 weeks to arrive! If I order from US vendors/artisans its a 2-3 week wait and even within Canada I'm usually looking at 2 weeks (thanks Canada Post)

Anyone wondering about the scent of Gratiot League Square or La Quatrieme Ville should not worry, they are two of hawns ' original scents (I think) and are both very nice and if you haven't tried the Declaration Grooming soap yet, well, its excellent as well. You should be aware that although Shawn said these two soaps are permanent additions to the lineup, LQV is a seasonal release which means (Shawn, correct me if I'm wrong) that it will be released annually for a limited time (season) and I think this year its available until March. So if you want it you should probably get it sooner rather than later. LQV also pairs nicely with Omnostre EDT if you're an EDT person.

Indeed, both are my original scents. And LQV is seasonal until the end of March. So basically, I endorse everything in this post!

We know what you get from Declaration.  I would get the scents from Shawn at Chatty Lux. My favorites right now from Chatty Lux are YRP, Gratiot and Bon Vivant.

Can't wait for the YRP soap and hope Scott nails it like Wholly Kaw did.

I have no doubt that Scott will do an excellent job on the YRP soap - I haven't heard a timeline on that one yet ( hawns ?) but I am looking forward to it. Once I get that one I will have YRP, which is one of my favourite CL scents, in the Wholly Kaw, T+S and Declaration Grooming bases - I'm not sure how it gets any better than that? Maybe in a Grooming Dept duck tallow base?

The next release will be Bon Vivant and Santal Auster toward the end of February. Then we'll start working on Unconditional Surrender and Champs de Lavande. There are also seasonal releases that will be coming out towards the end of March: Colonia Balsamica and Fourth & Pine. So I'd imagine those are next, based on how long production takes, and that a reasonable expectation would be that the Yuzu/Rose/Patchouli soap would drop around the same time that Y/R/P EdT comes out in the beginning of May.

Man, it's going to be busy. I'm tired just writing that out Wink

It is really great having someone who will ship worldwide. Top of the Chain made life way easier both for me and for my international customers. Glad you're able to get your hands on our stuff!

At some point. Currently my day job is really beating the ever-loving crap out of me. I am in Denver this week for a bunch of meetings that I have no need to be in.

Also, I should point out that there are still quite a few toners left at Maggard Razors

Just want to give a plug to Shawn and his business. Customer service is unreal. I received a personal email after both of my purchases, which is far beyond typical and makes me super confident that if I ever DID have an issue, it would be handled quickly. Thanks from one Sean to another, Shawn.

Cheers.

According my very scientific estimates, about 90% of meetings held by mankind are unnecessary… Confused2 Smile

Nevertheless, I hope Denver is good to you!
