I received this beauty last week and with 5 shaves under my belt I must say this level 2 razor shaves as good as it looks. It is consistently giving me BBS shaves in 2 passes with touch up. Irritation free and it looks good in my wall rack. I don’t think Brian gets enough credit for designing and making these pieces of functional art. The antique copper has a reddish brown patina and looks better than the pics can show.

Beautiful Razor! I agree with you, I don’t think Brian gets enough credit. He’s a great guy to deal with, and has always had good communication when I’ve ordered something. His Razors are truly unique, and for me they shave like a dream. I also really like the materials he offers his Razors and Handles in. I’ve got a level two OC and a level two SB, and paired with a Feather I get some of my best shaves. Enjoy!

Does the copper patina rub off as easily as brass or is it more durable like bronze?

I have only had this razor for a week, my brass model CG with the antique finish is still going strong after a little over a year.

I can't wait to get one of his copper offerings. Great looking razor you have there. Patiently waiting my turn Smile

With Brian doing all his own work and his big move it takes some time to get his razors. I remember buying my first one and he offered a discount if you bought a head with the handle. He does great work, worth the wait

I must clean my razors too much after uses as it took no time for me to rub off the antique finish on the brass, do you keep up with the waxing?

I take my razor apart after each shave. Rinse in warm water, towel dry with a micro polish towel and hang it back up. No wax yet

In my extensive talks with Brian he told me to just rinse the razor. DO NOT BUFF OR WIPE IT DRY! If you want to use a towel he said just blot it dry to preserve the original look of the razor. When it's time to polish it. He recommended Renessence polish. I blot mine, then hit it with a blow dryer on medium setting for a few seconds and it's maintained it's finish really well. Mark that copper is a beauty so please just blot it dry! I know you are just like me and I have OCD about cleaning my razors but with the CG I listened to Brian and it's paid off.
Enjoy that beauty!
