The Seygus may go back on BST soon - with multiple handle options.

I did purchase the Carbon Cx razor early on first day. Handle and head feel perfect in my hands - balanced, etc.

Will I ever purchase a razor head only again - NO. I understand others will have a different opinion.
Will I purchase an excellent razor with less than award winning design - sometimes YES, sometimes NO.
Since the handle feels perfect for you, which is great, the question of whether you'd be interested in a head only Carbon seems a moot point. Many of us have used the stock handle and found it not only not perfect but something we know we'd swap out (as I did). That might be fine in an $80 razor from IB but this is not that.

I would not purchase a "head only" based on my experience with my Seygus - 3 different handles and still cannot make my rotation (which currently is 3 razors all with stock handles and includes the Carbon Cx). I do understand some have excellent experience swapping handles - I have not.

Maybe you just don't like the Seygus head ? I'm really not getting the connection between you not liking the Seygus shave and your handle swapping. There is nothing unusual about the Seygus head that makes handle matching a particular issue- -- the Seygus handle is basically an ATT Atlas bit not as well finished which is why I bought just the head (to use with my Atlas).

If you prefer a handle-heavy razor rather than the traditional balance point, that's another story, the Seygus head at 48g is a lot heavier than the light Carbon which is kind of an outlier among premium razors in the heft department.

I just recieved the razor from the raffle. It was even better than expected. I requested the titanium version. The finishing is top notch. The shaves have been very smooth and efficient. This is defintely a keeper. I have other titanium razors (Timeless and Paradigm).

The handle is titanium and the head is stainless steel. He has not done a full titanium version of the razor yet.

How does it compare to the ti timeless 95?
#398
Thank you for clarifying that the head was stainless and not titanium.
It is a different shave than the timeless. This is one is more alot more nimble. I still need to shave with this one more , but I would say the timeless is smoother but slightly less efficient. I am happy with both and will use both in my rotation. The timeless titanium I have is the scalloped head not the SB or OC.
