Cowboys1 claims "capitalism" as his defense.  Don't sell this guy your stuff...and certainly don't buy from him.  Unfortunately, I am now learning he likes to make a habit of exploiting DFS BSTs.

Been watching the poisoning of the well for some time…….

Quoting $500 USD for a CG SS Hammered Handle? To a guy who is new here? You should be ashamed of yourself. No DFS rule broken

I was quoted $350 USD or a straight trade for a Wolfman Razor. For a handle purchased for $100 a few days prior? As if I didn’t know where it came from? I offered $200. Nope, NOT good enough. None of this is personal, it’s just business right? Please call ME a liar so I can visually show these people exactly what you are. It’s EXACTLY what I’ve said here, not one word different. No DFS rule broken

This person has zero interest in the shaving community.  This person does nothing but lie and insult people. He will tell you to your face you do the same thing he does, he will go behind your back and tell others YOU are THE liar.  Try that narcissism on someone else, Jedi mind tricks don’t work on the dark side. No DFS rule broken

There is ONE sacred thing this person does NOT have AND it cannot be purchased and sold back to a well respected member…… our Friendship.  There are rules pertaining to Friendship. No DFS rule broken

Andrew, No rules have been broken here, there should not be a ban

Being on “The List” is shameful enough

Patriot,

If you know that a Rolls Royce is worth $500K then why sell for $200K?  But that’s the sellers right!  Should there be anger and upset if the buyer sells for it’s true value of $500K or more then he’s a “dick?”

You’re not being fair!

to be fair, these issues are an outlier and our BST functions quite well, as is.

Per Andrew “flipping” isn’t against any rules.  You’re still giving that a negative connotation.  A free market allows for that to occur.  This happens everyday on DFS with Wolfman Razors because they are rare to obtain.  DFS members are marking them up greatly.  Isn’t that true!

Jeff

Just because something isn’t against the rules doesn’t mean it’s necessarily the right thing to do. You say people aren’t being fair. You got a handle at a fair price and decided to try and take advantage of the same community you purchased the handle from by nearly tripling the price.

Personally, I don’t see what’s wrong with it. It’s free market capitalism. The market determines the price. It’s only worth $300 if someone pays it. It’s always amused me when stuff like this upsets people…. This is literally how the “free world” works. To say this is wrong is essentially saying that freedom is wrong and everything should be regulated….

Going from not tolerating flipping on DFS BST to everything should be regulated is quite a leap. Plus we have lots of consumer protections which limit companies/individuals ability to operate unfettered. A totally free market is not how most of the world works.

It’s literally the same thing just on a larger scale. Let me ask you this… how many wolfmans or BEs have you seen go for MSRP here? And then ask yourself.. why aren’t people getting mad about that? What difference does it make it was purchased here at DFS. It’s silly.

Wow,  I’m shocked that he would add this to the mix. (Rob)is not the person you all think he is.  He thinks he can set a market price for rare razor gear!  He makes a ton of profit selling Wolfman razors and as he states he orders them to “flip.”

Per his texts:  isn’t he a hypocrite! Self admitted.

Rob: Probably not, I’m a flipper… except my CG gear. I’ve secured what I want functionally. Anything else is fun to have

Here is his thoughts on me not selling my razor for $200.  And he portrays himself as your friend too.

Rob: It’s pretty funny that you’ll sell something to strangers when you’re own ppl (we are of the same faith) make solid offers. I find that peculiar

He’s very angry that I didn’t sell him the Stars n Stripes for $200.  Ask him how many he owns.  Two-a brass and a copper (his brother).

Take that from what you will.

Rob, you’re being foolish!  By the way I received more than $200.

Enjoy!
