I'm looking for your opinion on the best unscented natural/organic shaving soap and shaving cream currently available ?

My limited experience unfortunately shortens my list to:

Xpec unscented old formula, which is superb.I rate this 9.5/10 performance wise, or even 10/10.

Martin de Candre unscented, which is nice too. A bit dry post shave feel though. 9/10 rating.

What else is out there with absolute TOP PERFORMANCE (minimum 9/10 rating if you had to rate it)

Needs/demands:

Free from fragrance oils and essential oils.

Preferably limited amount of ingredients, but not a must.

Price is not a concern. Quality and performance are KEY here.

Let me hear your thoughts and opinion !

I would have thought Valobra and MWF would work, but after checking the ingredients list, they both contain "parfum". That surprises me because they both smell like regular soap. Although you did mention specifically free from fragrance oils and essential oils, both of which are not listed in the ingredients for either soap.

Thanks for your reply.

MWF I have thrown out for good, please read this post as to why:

Valobra I have already owned in the unscented and it has this weird underlying smell to it.

You might consider Mike's Natural unscented.

Straight up peanut butter.

Try it.

The smooth kind though. Hold the jelly.

I use Unscented products almost exclusively due to sensitive skin but every now and then I get adventurous. I would highly recommend
XPEC Unscented
Mikes Natural Unscented
Phoenix & Beau Unscented

After dialing it in P&B is edging out Mikes which was my go to for over the last 2 years.

Edited to add that via email I have asked both Scott at L&L and Larry at CRSW about Unscented offerings and both said if I reached out to them they would put some aside before adding scent to the remaining batch. CRSW used to have an unscented sensitive formula for their Select V2 but not for their newly released line of soaps. Although going forward I don't think either vendor will be marketing aa stand alone unscented product. There seems to be very little demand.

I would suggest Le Père Lucien unscented refill. Valobra crema di sapone al mentolo, barely has any scent, but you feel the fresh, soft fresh. To me, this Valobra is the best soap out there on its price range. A little bit boring these two, but superb performance.

Scents are basically wasted on me because my sense of smell isn't what it used to be. So there were no problems getting CRSW to make up a tub of their new soap without scent and lanolin-free. Larry was easy to deal with, and it didn't take long to arrive. Came in the new container with the standard ingredient list on the side; that he wasn't about to change. The soap is excellent: lathers easily, very slick and easy on the face, even without the lanolin.
