Great options and I agree with the exceptional value of the Yates (any plate) which is one of my go to and favorites as well. Also there are many great values using a vintage Gillette like a Slim or Red Tip which can be found on auction or a flea market.

But one may consider the $2 Gillette Guard as a plastic razor with a disposable single edge open comb design. With good technique you can get a very good shave and if you travel you can take it in your carry on.
