Best bang for your buck razor

Under $5:  Chinese Gillette Silver Blue (Modern Gillette Tech)
$20 to $40: Original Gillette Tech (Year and handle, your preference)
$50 to $70: Henson AL13 and Razorock Lupo Stainless Steel (.72 or .95, your preference)

Great options and I agree with the exceptional value of the Yates (any plate) which is one of my go to and favorites as well. Also there are many great values using a vintage Gillette like a Slim or Red Tip which can be found on auction or a flea market.

But one may consider the $2 Gillette Guard as a plastic razor with a disposable single edge open comb design. With good technique you can get a very good shave and if you travel you can take it in your carry on.

I've found the following razors to be the best value for money; they're also the only ones in my shave den now that I've sold the rest!
