Best bang for your buck razor

Occam's DE Safety Razor

Karve Brass is best bang for your buck razor out imo, You can go as Mild as A plate to as aggressive as G plate. Personally,  I have the stainless Karve set  and it’s a joy to use. Second would be Yates H razor.

Hard to argue with the Winning razor, though I've never tried one. Two that I think are difficult to beat are the Fatip/Schone and the Merkur Progress.

The best ones have already been posted, though I'll mention a couple at lower price points. The Weishi Butterfly at $15ish is a pretty nice razor. Not in the same league as a 6C, though still nice. The Parkers are a good deal if you like blade feel.

Finally, the Yaqi three piece with the scalloped safety in various colors shave pretty well. Colors as opposed to chrome - there must be a difference in the thickness of the coating.

Game Changer 0.84 SB with a titanium handle, the 0.68 SB is also superb if you need a milder shave.

My choice as well

Not what I'd call well-made, but the Dorco PL-602 is an excellent mild shaver, I bought 2 for $5 ~6 years ago & am still using the first of the pair...

Unfortunately the prices have gone up lately.

The all aluminum Focus Tritok R52 Concave is an amazing razor.  The blade gap and exposure are both very small, and yet it provides the closest of shaves to the coarsest of beards, in only one pass (with touch ups).  
It's made in Italy, CNC machined to the tightest of tolerances, and available for around $70US.  

As I have gotten older, my skin has gotten thinner.  And while my beard requires an aggressive razor, my skin now prefers a milder one.  This razor gives me the best of both worlds. 

I've also heard good things about the Focus Tritok R51 Flat, for those who prefer very mild razors.  But that's not me, and I've never tried one, so I don't know.  I have however tried the Focus Dynamic R48, and can't get a good shave from it.  But YMMV.
