This looks good, Frank.
May I ask, how you are procuring quality pimenta racimosa?

Hi Primo

the blend for the Skin Food Splashes was made with the leaves that i infused for months so no Bay Rum Oil in that.  The Primeta Racimosa essential oil  got from two different sources.

That’s used in the Shave Soap as you can’t use and alcohol based infusion to make soap.

hope that explains things

Hi Frank, has any bay rum shipped to Top of The Chain yet? I’ve been waiting patiently but no joy so far. Has anyone got hold of any yet? It’s been very quiet.

Been years it seems since it was in stock, but Mike's Natural Soap listed Bay Rum. Pretty good. To me it's closest comp is BaM, with maybe some more spice.

Pineapple Bay Rum from PAA is one of their best bay rums. I’ve had the splash for years but only just got the soap. Very nice.  Happy2

How can it not be legit!? Skillfully blended according to an ancient formula.  I'm sure it takes a lot of skill to blend those three ingredients.  Let me know how it is.  If the bay oil is good it might smell nice.  I have to admit that I am a sucker for just about anything that says "bay" or Bay rum" on the label.  Hope triumphs over experience over and over again. For $5.00 it was worth the risk. Real Bay Oil is crazy expensive these days.

Here’s another example of hope triumphing over experience. This is not a top tier soap and the Bay Patchouli Grapefruit fragrance is the same one I’ve found in soaps by Sudsy Soapery and Desmond’s Barrow. It’s probably in some others. I can’t help myself.
