Been primarily using PdP bath soaps of late - Hell, each bar lasts over 5 weeks to bat scrubbing!
Rotated in a Stirling Satsuma. Good God, the scent is amazing but the soap base can not hold a candle to the PdP quad milled. Fully realizing how people disparage PdP as a price leader, for my skin, it just works.
Now if we could combine Stirling Satsuma scent with PdP base and quad milling - well, that would be something extraordinary.

This was going to be my next bath soap but after opening it I changed my mind. Has anyone seen anything like this before? I don’t think that orange chunk is supposed to be there and I know that mould isn’t.

That’s kinda scary looking.
Does soap get moldy?
I’ve been unsure about the QC at PAA…

Wow Marko ! I have not used PAA soaps, but I've never seen anything like that from any other soap I've used. I agree, definitely don't use it!
I would hope you addressed it with PAA. I know one of them (Doug?) is on here a lot.
That's just scary looking.

There is nothing wrong with the soap. That is an embed. Meaning, that is a chunk of colored soap. We do this when we have colored scentless soap pieces left over...adds a little zing! It's a technique. If you ever have a problem, please reach out to us first my friend, you'll get the right answer every time and fast! (without possibly creating an unnecessary scare my friend!)
Here are some embeds we often stick in soaps:

Why are you unsure about the QC at Phoenix? We take what we do very serious as a small, but growing, professional business. We own our own lab and facility with 4 employees (we are not a kitchen operation). We work extremely hard and try to deliver above and beyond everyday. We also take care of our customers. We are also extremely easy to get in touch with if ever you have any questions or concerns my friend! support@phoenixshaving.com

Very interesting. I'm guessing, being a small piece embedded in the much larger bar it won't really detract from the scent level. Just more of a visual art thing? That's kinda cool.
I do see something that looks like mold, though, in Marko's picture. Mostly gathered around the embed. Are these embeds more prone to going bad (quicker)?
