Vacuum sealed my backups. And the weird looks I got from my wife...

Thats actually a pretty good idea!

I think you ought to buy a tin of the CO2 that you spray into the head space of open wine bottles you aren't finishing right away and then, prior to sealing the tubs, open them and carefully lay a blanket of inert gas(CO2) over the surface of the soap displacing the oxygen then carefully replace the lids and vacuum seal the tubs. I'm not sure if this will better preserve your soap but it just sounds like the sort of overkill that has to provide some benefit right? Big Grin

This is the same treatment my beer growlers get from the bottles shop. Push out the oxygen before sealing. But that is way over my head... I'm not going to freeze though. I think that might change the consistency after thawing.

Sleeper , I'm not sure it would change the consistency - I live in Canada and during the winter months packages that I receive are usually frozen solid and I haven't noticed any detrimental effect compared to soaps that I order in the summer months. I generally won't order any liquids that will freeze especially in glass bottles during the winter months. Experience has taught me that can be a real mess.

Quick question: if I already have Lavanille and Cologne Russe in regular weekly rotation, will adding Night Music be hitting the same notes? I'm thinking of the vanilla and musk of Lavanille, as well as the vanilla and bergamot of Cologne Russe.
I have no doubt that I would enjoy it, I'm just trying to be practical here. It isn't feasible for me to buy every single release, sadly.

No. Night Music is a completely different animal than either of those. Its way muskier and has a hint of sweetness from the strawberry. Hope this helps!

Of those, Lavanille is the most similar in terms of notes, but even that is not doing it justice. Night music is so different than anything you're probably going to use. Love it or hate it. Ha.

I would agree with this! The musk is very pronounced. Again, love it or hate it. It just is!

Thanks guys, much appreciated. Trying to imagine the full-on musk and failing. I'll just have to smell it for myself.
Glad I can expect it to be different, though.

For an introduction, I recommend purchasing Cool. It is exceptional.
