Can I do anything to see whether these are from the old or the new glissant based formula, perhaps the same trick as with the barcode on the Leviathan could do it  Huh

Check the ingredient list!
A quick check is on the second ingredient: the Glissant base starts with "Potassium stearate, aqua, glycerin, ..." while the old formulation starts with "Potassium stearate, sodium stearate, potassium tallowate, ..."

Leviathan
Seville
Cologne Russe
Hallows
Dickens
Le Grand Chypre
Night Music
Roam
42
Adagio
Rhapsody
Beaudelaire
Fireside
First Snow
Arctique

Among the ones I own, I'm in doubt whether my 42, Rhapsody, Beaudelaire, Arctique and Fireside are glissant based ?

Claus, afaik, glissant base will contain an ingredient call Carthamus tinctorius hybrid (Hybrid Safflower)

Despite the ingredients list, the labels you're looking for are:

42:

Rhapsody:

Beaudelaire:

Fireside:

I don't own Artique, but here's the label:

I'm missing a couple of the old black labels and a couple of the earliest soaps. I don't even want to think of how much I've got invested. Great great products though.

I'm not a completist, so some of the more "regular" scents like lavender...I just pass on. The glissant versions are clearly better, so I will be replacing some upon their re-release, and this fact has kept me from going back and getting some of the older items as well.

I'm sure I will get ALL of their 2017 releases. There are just too many great ones. You heard it here first...2017 will be the Golden year for Barrister and Mann.

As a side note, I now have a few of the latha line soaps as well, and they are TERRIFIC. They are a nice compliment, and I think all B&M fans should at least pick up a couple of them.

I think we should all take pics of our B&M collections and share Smile

Very nice of you to post this - thank you, Sir !!

Then I all of a sudden own multiple glissant based soaps, that I was in doubt whether were the new or old formula.

All the ones you pictured I own with the same labels, so they must all be the new gliassant formula.

I only own Seville in both version, and find that I slightly prefer the Glissant based new formula, but the old formula is still fantastic IMHO.
Cheers, Claus from Denmark
