If I've not published an article I'm not qualified to comment on or criticize any articles? If I've never composed music I'm not qualified to comment on or criticize music? Its my belief that if someone has the desire and the courage to write an opinion piece and publish it then they should also be willing to accept any comment or criticism of that piece whether its fair or not. That just goes with the territory. The writer of that article was criticizing other writers who he believed weren't being sufficiently rigorous in their approach to reviews and I read that as being elitist overly critical of sincere lay persons in their attempts to share their enthusiasm with wet shaving. The article triggered a fair amount of comment and dialogue which is a good thing. Free speech being what it is and all - people are free to write reviews of varying quality and people are free to comment on and even criticize whats been written, even if they themselves have never written an article nor have any desire to.

I'm trying to suggest that a LOT of people are willing to sit in the background and criticise those that make an effort, rather than utilising that energy in a positive way by sharing their knowledge.
I am inviting you to channel your energies into a positive and pen an article in an area that you're proficient or well versed within.

I would too, yet openly admit that my knowledge and experience pales in comparison to the average audience here.
I am realistic.

I like how you mention your liberties, your rights, your freedom to speech.
Sadly, most forget those were fought for and there's attached responsibilities to ensure they're a constant.
I felt compelled to speak up as a part of mine.

No, I'm reluctant to reveal too much information because I don't want to influence the feedback we're hoping to get once the samples start going out. Sorry.

Historically, we have made everything except the Velvet Leg Lotion (which we don't have the equipment to make). This project is designed to take on the mass market and thus needs to be produced on an industrial scale (which is far beyond my capability). It's actually being manufactured by the same lab that produces Velvet Leg Lotion for us. I've been working on it in secret for 17 months now, but it's finally to the point where I'm ready to start showing it to people and giving it some final polish.

Edit: I just want to point out that this is very much my formula. I worked on it in the lab for 9 months before I even sent it to them (there were certain things that I didn't have the equipment to do properly). It's extremely powerful.

Thanks for explaining Will. I knew you had to at least design the formula, just didn't know how big your operation had grown and was curious. Congrats on the new market expansion.

Unfortunately, it would take considerable capital investment for that kind of equipment. I just don't have that kind of cash on hand, so I went to someone who did. I try to keep as many things as possible in the US, though, so I went to an American manufacturer.

I love this movement and wish to wake-up early enough to buy some at Shaving Estation. We speak still about the black boxes available in Europe some time ago. B&M European placing rebirth!

Will, are any samples going to find their way to Canada? It has been great that almost all of your products, (specifically the alcohol based splashes) have been available at Italian Barber and some other Canadian vendors as well - Badger Shaving, Mens Essentials being the others I think.
