WSP Rustic formula is a veggie soap. I have the WSP Formula T(tallow) Barbershop and that is a really nice scent. The scents are pretty much the same between the two WSP formulas.(I have some double scents between the two formulas, just not barbershop) I think the Rustic formula is almost as good of a performer as the Formula T, which is excellent.

Being omnivorous I take whatever sounds appealing or is recommended repeatedly in this forum.
My latest loves are Mystic Water's Lilac and also Lily Of The Valley once I learned what kind of treatment they demanded.

I do wonder though what category silk is placed in.

Right, wyze0ne, tallow doesn't like me.

CaD I've tried, it's the only one that hasn't grown on me. Ordered a sample of SC Honor (along with a few others), it should show up at my door on Friday.

Wholly Kaw has a vegan formula now as well, I think it's pretty recent. I just won a tub of King of Oud that should also be showing up soon, don't know if they sent me the vegan formula; if not, I'll probably have to pass it forward.

Definitely got my eye on the WSP Barbershop...

Sorry jimofthecorn I don't even know or any Babershop that come in vegan formula, sorry for misleading your topic that you were only interested in vegan soaps.

No, no, it's a good list, and through subsequent discussion we're determining which items I should be interested in.

In fact, I think we can take it as read that someone on this forum has ordered every item on this list since yesterday morning... :-D

Oh, OK. I've only seen them before at Maggard, & they only seem to carry the tallow formula.
Their full selection is here: https://whollykaw.com/product-category/m...ving-soap/

Apparently, tallow soaps sell so much more than vegan soaps, that many retailers only choose to carry the tallow versions.

I think its a testament to the dedication of Sri and the whole Wholly Kaw gang that despite modest demand for vegan formula they continue to make it to serve that part of the market. I buy it directly from WK as not a single vendor in Canada stocks the vegan formula. I think eventually some vendors will carry the whole WK line of tallow, vegan, toner, aftershave and balm but for the time being WK is the only place that has the entire line (duh) which I'm ok with.

All this scholarly discussion about scents is hard to take seriously when the reader is faced by a polar bear's posterior.
Fortunately where they live it is too cold for scents - any scents to make much impression or sense.
I trust that none of the craft soaps from those parts are really hand made.

You neglected to mention: An unshaven polar bear's posterior!

Actually showed up yesterday, & I'm afraid Honor's broken the trend (though I really liked Respect & Passion); it has a pungent, nose-itching quality that my wife & I both associate with my late mother-in-law's perfume. Does anyone have a sense of what ingredient I might be talking about? I've come across it a number of times & would like to be able to avoid it, but have no idea what it is. I suppose I should try to recall the other instances...

I too have such a grievous, noxious, problem.
But I am all too aware of the answer and I know I am a loser.

It is called GARLIC.

Could margarine not be substituted for tallow?

Lots of plants also secrete oil.
How do you think Moses' burning bush burned without burning?
