Here is Black Sunshine. I'll use it on Monday or maybe tomorrow afternoon. Would be cool if the handle was matte instead of glossy. Oh well, one can dream.

Very nice. Congrats. Did you go with the standard depth or did you have Larry drill it deeper?

Given where the glue on the knot is I would have done 10mm deeper.

Well guys, it time to shake things up a bit.

With the hope of a Saturday release, I will be bringing 24mm 'APLuxury' knots in both fan and bulb.

These knots will be a strategic blend of FINEST BADGER and BOAR.

It's a really unique experience, and it's only been done once before that I know of (in a Semogue LE in 2012.)

What you can expect:
-Soft Tips
-Great Scrub
-A bit of a break in period
-A bit of a soak (for best results)

I'm happy to answer any questions anyone may have!

I'm super excited for this release. I've been using the knots almost exclusively for the past couple of months and I'm really happy with the results.

Cheers!

To expand on this a tiny bit more. First - I have mostly been using two shavemac silvertip badger brushes (one bulb and one fan) and a Muhle stf v2 synthetic brush occasionally. Of these three brushes I prefer the shavemac badgers and of those the fan knot. They are soft and the individual hairs group together nicely with lather. The Muhle doesnt do this too much and is a bit springy.

I'm not sure if APCo classifies their tuxedo knot as bulb or fan but it is more similar in shape to my shavemac fan. I've used the tuxedo knot for the last 4 days with Mike's for 3 and L&L for 1. The tuxedo knot behaved more like the shavemac fan knot than the muhle. There was some spring but not as much the muhle. I liked how the individual hairs group together nicely with lather..and oh so soft. No soak time, lathers up quickly, and can hold a lot of lather. I have not used the shavemacs since getting the tuxedo and don't think it will replace them....but you never know. It will certainly be in the regular rotation.

Nice job on this knot @"AndrewPalombo"  Happy2

Quick Update: Waiting for some suppliers to come in so I don't get more backlogged during the release. I hope to release the new knots early next week now.

I am super excited to announce that APShaveCo is now stocking FAN and BULB 24mm Mixed Finest Badger/Boar Knots!
They knots give you a wonderful scrub and great backbone, with soft tips. I truly feel it gives you a luxurious experience, while also being completely unique. For this reason, I've dubbed the knots the "APLuxury".
Happy to answer and all questions anyone may have.
Have a great day everyone!!
Oh yeah, and I dropped new handles too.
