I've had this case for i don't know how long. It was given to me to keep it from going into a dumpster. It is full of NOS election tubes and other odds and ends. Just wondering if anyone knew of any sites or groups into this that might be interested in purchasing some?

The vacuum tubes could be worth quite a bit. Make sure you do not wipe them. They often printed the labels with easily-removed ink so as to discourage people from cleaning up dusty old tubes and selling them as new ones.

Looks like an assortment for TV repair.

I agree it looks like a TV repair kit. What a lovely find. A number of those tubes are common in high end tube amp circuits. Like the 12AT7 you have in there.

Some tubes may be worth $10-$30 each, maybe a few higher (people like NOS) and probably a bunch less valuable, as they may not be useable or the right kind. The kit is cool by itself.

A good place to try to sell something like this is diyaudio.com

Someone will pay you something for that set. I have a box of tubes I am not going to use myself that I need to sell there….

Remind me of my time as a Kids working Saturday at The Radio Doc, on South Main Street in Los Angeles. We had lots of do it yourselfers, who would bring in Tubes to test from TV's that were not working.

That was before we transitioned to throw away world.

Check to see if there is aa amateur radio club (Ham) in your area. Newer ham transceivers use integrated circuits, but some older equipment still use tubes. Also, many times RF amplifiers will use tubes.

A knowledgeable ham might be able to tell you which, if any, of your tubes might be valuable. In many areas, there will be hamfests that attract a wide variety of hams. There will be potential buyers for any valuable tubes. Although I am a ham, none of my radios use tubes. I do have a guitar amp that uses tubes.
