Hi Jay, I can say that it was a very smooth shaver before the replate and I don't expect that to change. I got a tech from delta echo last year and it looks great but it bites.

Hi Elliott Cosper , Chris will disassemble, clean and do paint/number touch ups but for mechanical work and repairs he has a colleague who does that. They work well together. I needed some work done on a Fatboy and an aristocrat and it worked out very well. The key is patience. Chris is very good so he has a long que of razors on his job board plus he has a day job plus he has a young family but in my opinion, it's worth the wait.

I have a Gillette Slim that has a bad squeak when turn the knob and I've got a few razors I wouldn't mind being replated too.
