Very reasonably priced is the Yates razor. I believe Westcoastshaving still has it available with both the full SB plate as well as a DC plate in brass. You can get it directly from Yates but there is no stock at the moment.

Edit: WCS are out of stock, so best just to contact Yates Precision Manufacturing

I too recommend the Yates brass dual comb. They are in the process of production to restock.

Some of the OCs are unusual in that it looks like the base plate is upside-down because the teeth curl up.
Even so, those should work just as well, not like the so-called "open combs" that are merely deeply-scalloped guard bars.

You asked for recommendations. I shave daily and like a mild or mid aggressive razor. This is a smooth and surprisingly efficient razor. While I prefer the H plate the brass dual comb is a great razor. I'm not trying to talk you into the razor and I'm certainly not going to tell the manufacturer that he should charge more for it. Priced less no doubt due to the finish isn't polished to the degree of a Timeless etc. I place emphasis on function over looks. Read and make your own decisions
