Got a tub of Wet Shaving Products (Rustic line, Tobacco scent). Lathers & works as well as Sapone di Paolo, my other favorite. Both seem very thirsty, but if I give them a lot of water they both lather very quickly & easily. In hard water, too. Curious about the Sandalwood, Vetiver, & Mahogany scents...

Mahogany is an amazing scent & Lee's soaps perform splendidly. Enjoy!

Great soaps. The Vetiver is a fresh, bright and clean vetiver with lemon. One of my favorites from WSP. I own it along with Spring Rain and Matterhorn.

I think Lee sent me his mahogany soap when we did the Movember raffle on the forum last November...I agree that they smell fantastic, but I think the tin size would start to annoy me.

I'm not sure if I've ever smelled a barbershop scent. What are the typically dominant notes?

Loading does tend to be messy, yes. Doesn't bother me much.

As they describe it:  "We started with a base of powdery musk, added some bergamot, orange zest, oakmoss, patchouli, and finished it with a hint of geranium."

It's quite nice!
