How about some concrete stats on this razor, most importantly those involving blade gap/exposure.

Could you please give us an idea of the "aggression" level of this razor. A good example would be to a common DE razor such as a Tech or DE89. A benchmark is needed here, otherwise it's a rainbow in the dark.

I have never used a DE89, and cleared out my Tech's long ago. Comparing it to a RR gamechanger, I would say blade feel while shaving is slightly more than a .68 but much less than an .84 but the efficiency of the shave is very similar to the .84. I hope that helps give some perspective.

I also really enjoy the Merica razor.
It's so comfortable to use and the weight and balance feel perfect to me.
The shave efficiency is really close to the 921-M.
I love the steep shave angle. So intuitive.

We all know how much the razor costs will determine how well it shaves and not design geometry of the razor head and guard.

I thought it was rarity > price > geometry.  Big Grin

Seriously though quality options for cheaper is never a bad thing. Preferably original designs and not ripoffs of artisan razors.

Appreciate the replies fellas, BUT the razor in question here is the Triple S and not the Yates 'Merica. There seems to be zero reviews of it anywhere on the 'net so far.  Party

LOL that's pretty funny

I was confused thinking this was a Merica and that Yates was the same as WSC till I read this

If that is the case then my The Ultimate Razor Design aka T.U.R.D. should be worth $$$$$$$ since there is only 1 in existence. It is made out of fossilized dinosaur scat. I even put a nice sheen to it making it a polished T.U.R.D. It shaves like s^%$ though.
