...Tobacco was too sweet, Sandalwood almost undetectable.

Starbucks is great, particularly since I haven't been able to drink the stuff for about the last 20 years...

I had Starbucks and the scent was great but something in the fragrance irritated my skin unfortunately. That's one of the best coffee scented soaps I've tried, on par with Mystic Water. Another nice one, and my personal favorite is Reef Point Espresso.

I find WSP's scents to be very powerful and bordering on harsh.

I just bought the Reef Point Espresso, good stuff. PAA Springheeled Jack is ok, my favorite coffee scent is Soapybathman Cup of Joe.

I forgot about Cup of Joe. I figure that one probably has a strong scent too, based on other SB soaps I have owned. I almost bought Springheeled Jack but figured it wouldn't be as strong as I like.

I might have to try Springheeled Jack. The Soapy Bathman & Reefpoint soaps are both tallow-based, which my skin doesn't seem to like...

I agree with you, my friend, but I have to admit I relish a strong, vivid fragrance in a shaving soap. I certainly don't want an eye-wateringly strong scent (I've tried a few menthol soaps that produced that reaction) but the WSP scents I've tried are wonderful -- the only one I wouldn't buy again was BlackBeard. All their soaps (with or without tallow) are excellent performers too, IMO.

With rare exceptions, the soaps that have disappointed me all had a fragrance I found too weak.

Try the Sandalwood, primotenore , it's practically unscented.

Agreed, opsimath,  for me it's usually too weak, too sweet, or too floral.

Actually, I am not a WSP fan. Too many other terrific soaps in my den. Clearly they're popular. Just not with me.

OK, this (WSP Starbucks) is now my official "If you were stranded on a desert island with only 1 soap..." soap.
