Lol. I'm sure glad I wasn't in this month. Now I only have a little remorse of buying a used charcoal Goods handle, going to pass up the single edge asylum RX.
Dave took one for the  crew.
Self to self, I'm going to pass on the asylum RX, lol the temptation is among us/me

OK, I made it through January without making a single shaving related purchase and this being the first day of February, a new month that isn't January, I went out and bought the Barrister and Mann Taiga soap in the omnibus base.  I liked that scent in the Latha base but wasn't really crazy about the base itself.  Omnibus is a definite upgrade.  I  saw elsewhere on DFS a member liken the Taiga scent to Pinesol and you know what?  He said it like it was a bad thing!?   Big Grin  Scent is subjective and unless Mr. Will Carius has changed the formula of Taiga scent, I figure I'll still like it.   I was tempted to add another soap or two to make the free shipping but resisted.  I have B&M Amazelnut in softhearted base and if you're a fan of hazelnut scent then I say get it in Omnibus.  I'm good with it in softhearted but its a straight up in your face hazelnut scent.  Nice. Congratulations on the month success.
I have Taiga in Soft Heart base, used it last night with the splash, I really like it. I hope you like it.

Another congrats to you Mark.  I made it through January too, and picked up the MacDuffs Winter Cabin set this morning, as per plan.  Then, to my surprise, my inbox began flooding with emails about what appears to me to be a second stockist GDept Mallard drop.  In any case, I managed to pick up the Mallard Coconut Rum and Kulfi that I regrettably passed on in January.  Aside from enjoying how life works out sometimes, I will say that I am "soaped" out for February, at least.

I tip my imaginary cap to you both, Marko and HighSpeed! Nicely done. And Mike, maybe you need to buy a lottery ticket while you are having the magic touch!

Will midnight never come!!? One disadvantage of living out here on the edge of the world is that tomorrow arrives a lot later for me than for the rest of the world. I pledged two full days of restraint for the month of February, and I'll stick to it. But doggone the clock is moving slow and reading mrdoug's description of his new Overlander has got me all jittery.
